Bimota's DB10 Bimotard

Not just a Hypermotard in a new frock

WHAT do you get when you cross a Hypermotard with Bimota? A Bimotard, a Bimota DB10 Bimotard to be precise.

One of the most surprising bikes of the show, the Bimotard is Bimota back to their best. After almost going to the wall a few years back, Bimota have found a new lease of life, with a complete company restructure and a promising new outlook.

At EICMA, the firm showed off their new models including the DB10 Bimotard, DB9 Brivido, BBX 300 and BBX 508 off-roaders. Wow.

The Bimotard is based around a Ducati Hypermotard 1100 EVO but features Bimota's own modified frame and swingarm (which looks identical to the one used on the DB5), a Bimota-made exhaust system, OZ wheels and fully adjustable suspension.

We think it looks more like a Dorsoduro than a Hypermotard. No prices as yet, but expect the usual Bimota premium.
