Akrapovic reveals Full Moon concept

Futuristic cruiser revealed by Slovenian exhaust manufacturer at German bike show

SLOVENIAN exhaust manufacturer Akrapovic has revealed a concept cruiser called the Full Moon.

The bike was on display at this year's Bad Salzuflen Custom bike show and is a collaboration between Akrapovic and custom bike builders Dreamachine Motorcycles.

Made almost entirely from sheet metal and powered by a 1524cc S&S Knucklehead V-twin engine, the Full Moon concept sports a 30-inch front wheel made from aluminium and carbon. Fitted to the wheel is a large composite perimeter brake disc that outsizes most normal-sized motorcycle wheels.

Two Akrapovic exhausts are housed in the teardrop rear of the monocoque chassis giving the bike a sleek look, along with the hydraulic lowering system that allows the bike to sit upright without the need for a kickstand.
