IMAGES OF the 2011 Kawasaki ZX-10R road bike have been leaked by US motorcycle magazine Cycle World.

The embargoed information has been put in print by the US mag, and published online by US site Hell for Leather.

Visordown has been followng the progress of the 2011 machine, bringing you first images of the company's World Superbike racer. British WSB man Tom Sykes has helped test the new machine. See the video of Sykes testing the WSB racer.

As expected, the new 10R features adjustable traction control system (S-KTRC) and anti-lock brake system (KIBS).

Other stuff? Big piston forks treatment, horizontally-mounted rear shock, titanium tubed/stainless steel exhaust and a healthy dose of pure racebike DNA.

I hope this is a windup, the bike that is on the front cover is gross !  I hope this isnt how it will look, the separate screen bolted on to the fairing is something id expect to see on a cheap scooter !

Looks a bit budget cheap like the 250

The headlights looks pretty awesome. JUST the headlights though. That screen is bloody aweful.

Maybe even uglier than that 2002 MotoGP machine they had.

Whatever happened to the guys who styled the 05/06 zx6 because that was and still is sexual

Must admit this angle isn't the most flattering. Better pics on MCN but not much. Dash looks nice though. Agree that the '05 ZX10 was the best looking, also fancy the '03-'05 ZX6 as well. But the biggest problem that I have with these machines is the name. Which is why the only ones I have considered buying have had the plastics resprayed, but still, having to say the name out loud makes me cringe. Change the name already. Ninjas were cool back in the '80's. But then so was Tom Cruise, leg warmers and BetaMax...

I feel dissapointed.

Xtreme case for me of OVER-PROMISED, OVER-HYPED, UNWHELMING & UNDER-DELIVERING.

Don't care if it has 600hp @ 18k rpms, it looks like A GREEN ANCIENT TURD. I can live with the new HeadLigths tho. Wheels and tail section make me PUKE.

Honestly I hope for the sake of any kawasaki fan out there that this is just the result of the designers having a joke and just thought it would be funny to see what would happen if you threw a pencil and paper into the middle of a monkey shit fight.  It is an abortion on biblical proprotions and I am starting to wonder if a rival manufacturer is running thier marketing department in order to prevent any sane person from purchase. Performance wise im hearing good things however, as a road product I just cannot believe that this is the actual bike as the success of it is crucial to Kawasaki.  Seriously though I am willing to put money on the fact that if I were to spend half a day kicking donkey shit down my street I would achieve better results than this.  Pathetic attempt!

I agree..... That stealth look is a bit much. I think we can atribute that to the small rider trickle down affect from MOTOGP.
