ELECTRIC motorbike manufacturer Zero Motorcycles has unveiled the company's 2010 range, complete with striking new colour schemes.

The range, which includes the Zero 'S' streetbike, 'DS Dual Sport, 'MX' Motocross and 'X' off-roader, all boast the latest clean-emission technology.

Zero says its new Z-Force power pack technology features new and more precise monitoring of cells in the Lithium-Ion battery pack resulting in longer power pack life, more power, greater acceleration off the line and superior handling.

Be interesting to see if they are totaly silent or have some kind of noise making device.

last electric bike I saw used a chain - and it made an annoying constant rattle because there's no engine noise to cover it up.  Shame they didn't use a belt drive to make the bike even easier to maintain.  Still, looking forward to trying one and seeing what the power is like

These are totally silent, i rode one recently in France and it goes like stink, wheelies way to easy of the throttle and is an absolute blast, if somewhat surreal.It will be a proper toolround the lanes in supermoto guise.
