MOTORCYCLE sales up to July this year are 14.7% down on the same time last year, according to statistics just released by the MCIA.
Up until the end of July 2010, 53,877 motorcycle had been sold, compared to 63,158 for the same time period in 2009. The Supersport category has been the hardest hit, with a 28.2% drop in sales, however the Sport/Touring sector has only seen a 2.1% drop in sales.
