Lancashire's new road safety campaign

New posters designed to get motorists to look for bikers

LANCASHIRE police have launched a new road safety campaign in a bid to reduce the number of motorcycle accidents on roads in the region.

The campaign, aimed at motorists, features a biker dressed as a clown and another biker riding naked, with the tag line of: "What do I have to do to get you to notice me?". It's designed to help reduce motorcycle related accidents, which make-up 22% of the region's killed or seriously injured statistics.

Lancashire police state that the campaign, which will be shown on billboards and posters throughout the region, is designed to educate road users on the importance of looking out for motorcycles.

"The concept for this campaign is, ‘What do I have to do to get you to notice me?" said Chief Inspector Debbie Howard, the head of Road Policing.
