CONSTRUCTION OF Honda India's second motorcycle plant got underway this week, as part of a £73.5 million investment in the company.
The additional plant will have an annual production capacity of around 600,000 vehicles, said President and Chief Executive Shinji Aoyama.
The new plant should be finished in the second half of 2011 and will initially employ about 3,000 workers.
