AN ENDURO rider ended up in hospital after getting snared by a piece of wire that had been tied between trees in a half-arsed trap.
The man, who wishes to remain anonymous, was riding in woods near Worksop when he ran into the wire, which had been hung at neck height.
"I just wanted to let other bikers know that the wires are about. I've heard about the wires before but you just never think that it's going to happen to you. I didn't even see it until the last minute," he said
"I'm not sure about the exact location as I was just exploring with friends, but I'm not sure exactly which bit."
