Australian man feels the warm arm of the law

A 22-YEAR old Australian man was taken to hospital with hypothermia symptoms after being busted at 30mph over the speed limit.

Police called paramedics after stopping the rider, who was caught at approximately 90mph in a 60 zone on the Hume Highway in Victoria. The man was wearing skimpy clothing with no cold weather gear in sight when he was pulled over.

His motorcycle has been impounded for 30 days.

at just 100km/h the wind factor lowers temperature by 20C...I rode on the highway last weekend it was around 5C and at about 120km/h it felt like -25C!
