THE Indian fire brigade has introduced Royal Enfields equipped with fire fighting systems to act as fast response vehicles in the crowded cities of Delhi, Pune and Nagpur.

Royal Enfield motorcycles have been used by the Indian military and police force for decades and the Electra model will now be utilised by the fire brigade.

The bike has been loaded with compressed air foam and water systems, along with first aid equipment and gel blankets for quick medical attention for burn victims.

The bikes will allow for a quicker and more efficient response to blazes, since they can move through the crowded city traffic much faster than fire engines.
