A NEW JERSEY man has pleaded guilty to an unsafe driving charge after riding to work with his dog on his motorcycle's tank.

Gyula Szatmari, 56, was charged initially with transporting a dog in a cruel and inhumane manner as he was driving down a road with his dog on his BMW motorcycle, however he pleaded guilty to the unsafe driving charge.

Szatmari is known locally for driving with his Boston terrier named Bosco on his motorcycle. Bosco would sit on a special padded platform behind the screen that Szatmari built for the dog.

Szatmari had to pay a total of £200 in court costs and fines.

... & the double poster.

Presumably it has to be secured properly to the motorcycle so that in an accident it can't jump to safety.

Errrrr does this mean that every American who drives with their dog loose in their cars (I've even seen a woman with her dog laying on the dash board) will be fined too??
