Three-year-old survives 12th floor tumble as motorcyclist cushions toddler's impact
A THREE-YEAR-OLD boy survived a 120ft, 12th floor fall after landing on a motorcyclist, in Taipei.
According to today's China Times, the incident occurred in Sanhsia Township outside Taipei about on Saturday evening.
The report says Lin Tzu-chun, 25, broke the boy's fall after the rider parked his motorbike beside an apartment building about 8 pm Saturday to buy milk from a department store.
The boy hit Lin's left shoulder, then the motorbike before landing on the pavement.
The rider was knocked unconscious and suffered a broken left wrist. The boy was a coma, suffering from brain hemorrhage, the paper said.
Both Lin and the boy were rushed to hospital. Lin was discharged Sunday and the child regained consciousness and was recovering in hospital.
