MICHAEL LAVERTY will be joining his brother Eugene on track at Kyalami this weekend replacing the injured Robbin Harms.

Dutchman Harms has been sidelined after crashing out of last weekend's Monza round and the Veidec Racing Honda outfit is drafting in the 2007 British Supersport rider, who is currently racing in the AMA championship with Celtic Racing.

Michael revealed the news on his twitter page by saying: "I'm racing World Supersport this weekend in South Africa, replacing the injured Robin Harms, bit of a last minute thing but I'm excited!"
