Byrne's had his chance and now is too old to start a decent career, just let him stay in the UK and take the money rides.
And as for British riders, well i don't think any of them are worthy of top rides at world level next year, all the young guns keep getting beaten by a mid 30's failed MotoGP rider, who turn was getting beaten week in week out by the pair of Johnny Foreigners who were in BSB last year.
So no one really stands out at the moment, maybe in 2 - 3 years time we might have a decent world class rider in a simarlar vein to toseland, but until they can clean up at home, we don't want them embarssing us at world level by riding round at the back of the field.
