The news means that Hill won't be at Misano for the San Marino round of the WSB championship this weekend; he will be working for his younger brother Jimmy in the Superstock 600 class at Snetterton instead.
So that's the first British casualty of 2009 out of action; anyone want to bet on how long it will be before Tommy ends up on a Motorpoint Henderson Yamaha R1, back under the wing of Rob Mac?
We'll give it a month.
