Rea...outgunned team-mates at Magny Cours

JONATHAN REA bagged the fastest time in the Ten Kate tests at Magny Cours posting a best lap that was quicker than the current lap record.

The whole team were out in force at the French track with a host of electronic parts for both the engine and traction control systems plus new swingarms and suspension innards to test on the white and green Fireblades.

Rea bagged his best time of 1m 39.7 while Ryuichi Kiyonari, on the HRC-coloured machine did a 1m 39.9 and Carlos Checa a 1m 40.2.

Check out those best times though, quite a difference between the two youngsters and old man Checa, isn't there?

.
I make it between 0.3 and 0.5 secs, which is  more than 0.2, so , err, yep, quite a difference.
