Visordown Motorcycle News Our man in the know says Lavilla is out of WSB

WE'RE HEARING a lot of rumours at the moment and there's a lot of buzz that Gregorio Lavilla had been dropped from the Vent Axia Honda WSB squad.

We'll let you know more on that if we get anything else soon - but how about this for an interesting aside, Gregorio riding a third bike in the Rizla BSB squad? Or maybe even replacing the puzzling Atsushi Watannabe... hmmmm, it's all going on with the blue bikes at the moment and there's a lot of warbling going on in the BSB paddock about the Spaniard making a return to the UK soon.

Doe the curse of Birdy strike again ?

He was singing his praises the other month , it'll be interesting to see if he's turned into a slow , crap not interested rider like, Hislop , Shakey , and the like did

Who says Ducati's don't have an advantage?

Last year Lavilla was on the Duke and was competitive, last year Byrne was on a honda and did fook all, this year the roles are reversed, Byrnes cleaning up and Lavilla is out on his arse.....nothing to do with the bike is it?

Or maybe it's that one bikes suits a rider better than another. After all Shakey's been successful on a Ducati in the past!

I think the ducati factor is higher in BSB when there are less long straights and the initial grunt out of corners counts for more.

I dunno what to make of all this. If IF Suzuki do go the CRT route, I reckon it would be a bit of a shame. But I can understand the reasons,...
