German rider likely to miss a few rounds. Read on for injury updates for Tamada and Roberts
ALSTARE SUZUKI’S German Ace Max Neukirchner is likely to be out of the World Superbike Championship until the Misano round on June 21st after suffering a broken femur following first turn pile up in race one at Monza.
Also involved in the collision was Paul Bird Kawasaki’s Makoto Tamada, who fractured his hand and will miss next weeks round at Kyalami, South Africa.
Brendan Roberts was originally suspected to have a leg fracture. The Guandalini Ducati rider was lucky to get away with being badly battered and bruised after the collision, considering former BSB champion Gregorio Lavilla is waiting in the wings to take his ride.
