World Superbike front-runner was lapping 3-seconds off his usual pace during Valencia race due to poor traction-control setup
EVERYONE'S favourite rapid WSB rider Fonsi Nieto has said that his team has sorted out the traction control problems that plagued him at Valencia.
Speaking yesterday, Nieto said: "In testing after Valencia we have had many problems to try and overcome with the traction control. We had similar problems in the build-up to the Valencia race but we ran out of time to sort them out, so it was all I could do to just stay in the race and do the best I can.
"In the first race I was pretty lucky because so many riders crashed out so I managed fourth. In the second race I had to ease off on the throttle and by the end I was riding around at something like three seconds off my best times.
"But we have done a lot of work on the system and I am sure that at the next round in Assen we will be sorted. I think that now we have found a good level."
Anyone want to bet that Troy Bayliss isn't exactly shaking in his boots at the prospect though?
