AUSTRALIAN Troy Corser has clocked the fastest time in this afternoon's first qualifying session at Portimao, Portugal, ahead of this weekend's WSB round.
The Yamaha-mounted Aussie lapped the new Portuguese circuit in 1:55.791, two seconds quicker than Britain's Leon Haslam. Haslam's team mate, Cal Crutchlow, went fifth fastest, with fellow countryman Chris Walker posting the sixth quickest time of the session.
