BRENDAN ROBERTS the newly-crowned Superstock Champion and former British Superstock Champion, will be racing in the World Superbike championship in 2009 alongside Jakub Smrz.
The pair will compete for Guandalini Racing on a pair of Ducati 1098 RS09s.
Team manager Mirco Guandalini said:
"I am delighted to have signed up Brendan for next year, he is a strong and promising young rider. I am sure that in our team he will have every possibility to do well. I'm also pleased to confirm Jakub Smrz, who gave us a lot of satisfaction last year and who proved to be a really quick rider; we are expecting some good results from him this season".
