SOMETIME FAST man Ayrton Badovini has continued his crashing ways as he heads for WSB this year with a huge highside that left him with a dislocated shoulder during a two day test session at the Levante track in Binetto, South Italy.
Badovini will be riding alongside Matteo Baiocco in the PSG-1 Corse Kawasaki team this season in his WSB debut.
Badovini, a fast Superstock rider, had a couple of difficult days after crashing on day one, which forced him to miss the afternoon session. He then had another crash on day two, dislocating his shoulder in the process.
He will now have to rest for about 20 days, but he should take part in the first round of the championship, scheduled for March 1 at Phillip Island.
He said: "I had a nasty crash, the rear of the bike slid away and I was thrown off. I banged my shoulder but I'm not sure against what, and felt severe pain. Luckily it was only dislocated, I'll have to rest for 20 days, but I'll be present at the first round in Australia. Even though for me the tests were over earlier than expected, we managed to work on what we had planned and made the first changes to the Kawasaki ZX-10R".
