BRITISH Superbike 'People's Favourite' Chris Walker is being linked to a job outside of racing in 2010.
The rumour mill has the four-time runner-up in the BSB championship taking up a job with Norton next year, as a person in the factory's marketing department.
It's only a rumour, so it might be wildly wrong, but Visordown has been told by a certain Norton person that Walker will be starting in his role there in the new year.
Not too sure that he will be able to do both racing and marketing for Norton. Maybe this is the end for Walker the racer? He knows a bit about working in the bike industry, having been a grease monkey in his Dad's Kawasaki dealership before taking the track.
Don't do it, Chris. We want to see another grudge match between you and Neil Hodgson in next year's BSB!
