Builders of one of the leading machines entered in this year's emission-free TTXGP invite selected racers to test battery-powered bike
THE BUILDERS of one of the machines tipped to win the world's first emission-free electric motorcycle road race have invited selected riders from around the world to test their battery-powered racer.
Reports from the riders that tested the TTX01 were good. Seasoned race veterans Werner Daemen and Didier de Radigues were impressed with the performance. Many said the experience was extremely similar to riding a 'standard' motorcycle; all that was missing was the sound of the engine/exhaust and the sensation of engine braking.
The inaugural TTXGP is scheduled to take place on 12th June 2009.
