FORMER MOTOGP World Champion Nicky Hayden took to four wheels at the weekend, beating Ferrari F1 stars Felipe Massa and Fernando Alonso in a go-kart ice race.
The event was held during the closing stages of the Wrooom Press Ski Meeting, on a frozen lake at Madonna di Campiglio in Italy, where Ducati earlier unveiled the company's 2010 Desmosedici GP10 racer.
As well as trouncing the F1 stars, Hayden also beat his Ducati team-mate Casey Stoner in the kart race. The Kentucky ace shared the podium with Massa and Stoner, however Ferrari's newest signing Fernando Alonso failed to finish after crashing out of the event.
It wasn't a total disgrace for the F1 boys: Massa triumphed in a Fiat Panda 4x4 race earlier in the evening.
