TTXGP - the brains behind zero emission motorcycle racing - have unveiled plans to make the logistics of ebike racing easier for both riders and teams.

TTXGP 'TecHotel' is a new package that can handle, transport and store your bike between races allowing you to focus on what’s important: racing.  For 2010, TecHotel is available for TTXGP UK and TTXGP Italy.

From TTXGP:

TecHotel is uniquely suited to TTXGP.  Unlike regular motorsport, duties such as engine rebuilds or engine tuning is not required.  Teams can keep a development bike at base and race bike with TecHotel.  Tuning and refining of the bikes done at base with settings saved to USB and uploaded to the race bike at the trackside.  The race bike then becomes a clone of the development bike.
Hardware changes such as controllers/ motors or circuit boards can be carried in commercial airlines as luggage or in a normal car to the track.

As well as storing the bike, TecHotel will also store support equipment such as helmets, tyre warmers, tools etc etc.
The team benefits from substantial savings in transportation and organisational overhead.  They arrive at the circuit fresh and without the burden of logistics.
Save Money, Save Time, Save Hassle. The team focuses on the racing.

Under the TecHotel package your bike and kit will be stored at our secure facility and safely transported to each event.  This will allow you to arrive at a race meeting and have your bike and equipment unloaded and readied for you to set up your bike and go racing.  After the race, your bike and kit will be packed up and returned to our facility until the next event.
TecHotel provides the perfect solution to all of your storage and logistical needs.

TecHotel will support all bikes irrespective of manufacture.  You will need to ensure that charging protocols are clearly defined and meet our regulations for power supply and safety.

Your bike will be stored at our secure facilities, protected by alarm, CCTV and insured up to its maximum declared value (up to £35,000).  A power supply will be provided for the bike if necessary and an IP connection made available should your control system support it.  You can even subscribe to a live video feed (setup charges apply) so that you can login and check your bike 24/7.

Your bike and kit will be transported to each race, safely held, protected from the elements and fully insured.
We can arrange collection of your bike from your base at the start of the season and delivery back to base at the end of the season.  Extra charges apply for the pickup and collection depending on distance.  We can take custody at Round 1 and release custody at Round 4 at no extra charge.

Getting TecHotel is simple.   TTXGP knows your machine, knows your agenda and knows what electric motorcycles and their teams need.

TecHotel costs only £2,800 for the entire championship and we will offer a 10% discount for all teams who signup with registration to TTXGP UK 2010.  Prices exclude VAT.
