AMERICAN emission-free racing team MotoCzysz (no, we've no idea how to pronounce it either) has won the inaugural TT Zero, narrowly missing out on recording the first 100mph lap by an electric bike at the Isle of Man Races.
Californian Mark Miller, riding the company's achingly beautiful E1pc racer, lapped the 37.73-mile course in 23 minutes 22.89 seconds.
A £10,000 prize had been the reward put up by the Isle of Man Government for the first team to record a 100mph lap.
