Bradley Smith fourth and Scott Redding sixth, as Spaniard tops timesheets in testing
THEY'VE HAD two days of testing to topple him - but nobody can manage quicker times at Jerez than Julian Simon on the RSA Aprilia.
The Spanish star was in flying from in Spain yesterday for day two of the three day tests, setting the fastest time of 1m 47.465.
High winds and changing track grip meant that all times were down on those set on Wednesday, although Andrea Iannone managed to get to within 0.1s of Simon, just one place ahead of the tiny Marc Marquez.
Other RSA Aprilia rider Bradley Smith battling Spaniard Pol Espargaró and scrapper Takaaki Nakagami were the only other riders to get into the 1m 48s bracket throughout the day.
