Former F1 champ out cold after crashing in testing for German Superbike Championship
Schumacher was putting his bike through its paces as part of his preparation for the IDM German Superbike Championship, which he will be taking part in this year.
The German was riding a team Holzhauer Honda CBR1000 Fireblade when he reportedly highsided and was knocked out in the crash after banging his head during the spill.
He was rushed to a nearby hospital where he regained consciousness soon after. Schumacher complained of a painful neck and right wrist, but a scan ruled out any serious injuries.
Wait for it, if you listen really hard you can almost hear the F1 brigade piping up with their 'bikes worse than cars' mantra now...

as a driver he did my nut in,
but i have a new found respect for the bloke now, he is fking quick, probably a lot quicker than most people realise, and to be able to do it in cars and then have a go at competitive bike racing at his age deserves a certain amount of credit

Well said, User 63243!
To achieve what Schumi did/does, he has to be able to shut out the outside world and concentrate 100% on what he is doing, which makes him appear like a machine sometimes.
I was never a fan of his but I have huge respect for his achievements.

I'm older than him and I know nothing about WWII bombs...
Poor fella. As a stereotype German he'll never have a lot of luck where Brits are concerned.
