'I just know that if the bike works well on the day there won't be anyone to touch us'
Michael Dunlop will be pursuing more victories at the Northern Irish road race after his emotional victory last year. Elder brother William will be aiming to add another Dunlop name to the victory list.
In the 125 class William had planned to ride ‘Seabiscuit’, the bike Robert Dunlop took his 15th NW200 victory on, but opted to ride a KRP machine similar to those used in the British 125 championship.
Also riding in the 250 class, William stated his target: “I'm not being big-headed or anything, but I just know that if the bike works well on the day there won't be anyone to touch us – but I've got to be in the right frame of mind to ride the thing because I'm like an old woman when I'm not in a good mood.”
This weekend, William will also contest both Supersport races and the Superstock event, riding a Yamaha R6 and R1.
