DONINGTON PARK have announced an all-new MotoSix Nations Motorcycle Racing Challenge, at the revamped East Midlands circuit over the weekend on 28-29 March.
Riders representing England, Wales, Scotland, the Isle of Man, Northern Ireland and Eire will be battling for glory in Superbike, Supersport and Sidecar races in this team event being decided over the full Leicestershire Grand Prix circuit.
Each of the teams will field six racers, riding in distinctive national colours, in each of the two double race solo events, and four sidecar crews in each of those two races, with points awarded across the whole entry to decide the outcome of the MotoSix Trophy. Practice for these races starts on Saturday, with the races on Sunday.
The action on track begins at 9.00am on both days, with adult admission £6 on Saturday and £12 on Sunday. Accompanied children aged 15 years and under are admitted FREE of charge. Car parking is FREE of charge. Race-goers should note that due to the major redevelopment works being carried out ahead of the hosting of the FIA British F1 Grand Prix in July next year, access to the circuit will be through the main paddock entrance only. The circuit infield viewing areas will be closed for the 2009 season, but there are still trade facilities and exceptional views from the outer banking areas of the circuit.
