POST SEASON testing at Valencia was cut short when changeable weather left all GP teams scratching their heads, with no suitable tyres available from Bridgestone.
A damp track on Tuesday meant the circuit was not wet enough for rain tyres but with no intermediates proposed in the new tyre ruling, a halt came to testing mid-way through the morning session.
“We didn’t turn a wheel,” said a frustrated Jerry Burgess on the stop-start morning session.
Some teams took to the track later that afternoon, when enough rain fell to warrant full wets.
