VALENTINO ROSSI confirmed at Valencia that he will not only take part in the RAC Rally, as well as the Monza Rally Show, but that he will be testing a Ferrari F1 during the winter.

The Ferrari deal, however, has no significance, he insisted, and doesn’t mean he has ambitions to go to F1. “It is just a present to me, for winning the championship,” he said.

“I have one more year contract with Yamaha after this, and then I will be 31. That is too old for F1. I will drive a Ford in the rally in England, on the weekend of December 7. I am quite excited, because always have fun with a car, and there is less pressure than at MotoGP.”
