Seven-time world champion says 'aggression is good but not everything'
The seven-time world champion said: "To be aggressive is certainly necessary in racing, but aggressiveness does not take into account everything. And it is dangerous when you run up against another rider. What happened to Loris Capirossi (when he clashed with rookie Alex de Angelis in Barcelona) ended up in injury for the rider.
"You could say that the new riders are very determined, but they should be calmed a little.”
Blimey, if he thinks that was rough just wait until this weekend at Donington if there's someone standing between Toseland and that first MotoGP podium...

Rossi's getting old now, he's beginning to turn into Sete Gibernau....lol
I seem to remember him and Biaggi (& Gibernau for that matter) running each other off the track, having a few speculative outbraking moves, so for the man to talk about aggressive riding must mean he is about to hang up his leathers.

I have always liked Rossi's style,he gets the job done without being over aggressive or endangering other riders. How about the 125 rider Ionnoni?Very detirmined and a fantastic rider,at the start of the race , watch him carve his way through other fast men , I think he would be a walk-away winner if some one would just put him on a machine with decent speed.
