Dani Pedrosa...winning in style at his home Grand Prix

DANI PEDROSA kept his championship hopes alive by winning today's Catalan Grand Prix in blistering fashion.

The Repsol Honda rider took the lead from pole-sitter Casey Stoner at the first corner and remained unchallenged for the rest of the 25-lap race. Pedrosa crossed the finishing line over four seconds ahead of nearest rival, Valentino Rossi, with reigning World Champion Casey Stoner clinching the final spot on the podium, less than a second behind the Italian. The pair were involved in a ding-dong battle for much of the race but it was Rossi who won the battle at the finishing line.

Andrea Dovizioso, riding a Honda, secured an impressive fourth place after a hard battle with the mid-pack competition.

The result means Pedrosa closes down Rossi's lead in the championship to seven points.

Britain's James Toseland finished the race in seventh position. The Yorkshireman is also running in seventh place in the championship standings with 53 points.

That's why I have to avoid VD on a raceday, as some tool will come along and give away the result in the thread title.

Before you jump in and call him a cunt, i notice you can comment on the news articles at the bottom of the page and it posts it up here all automatic. He probably didnt see this.

but if he did see the 'comment on the forum" line and still did it well he deserves it

Yeah, not ramicups fault.  It this site.  It's on the homepage for all to see anyway.  Place a comment on the news article and it ends up here.  I like VD, but I hope they can be a little more discrete with the results in future. Hardly difficult is it?

Marko

And what was the point in telling us all the result?

Like fucking little kids with a secret, i bet this guy was sat with his laptop on his knee as Pedrobot crossed the line, itching to be the first to post this up.

Think of something original, i'm sure if we wanted to know the result, we would have gone to the home page, but i, like many have the forum page as the home page.

Marko, I don't think you've read my post or Mr Drinks.  Not the OP's fault in my opinion, he was just commenting on a new article.

+1

Luckily I avoided the forum and managed to see the race before the post. Think I'll have a look at Oi Admin and also comment.
