Pedrosa...please with his switch to Bridgestone

DANI PEDROSA has spoken out about how his factory Honda feels after the high-profile switch from Michelin to Bridgestone tyres.
Speaking for the first time, Pedrosa said: "With the Bridgestone tyres on it feels like another motorcycle!"
He was talking to Spanish journalists after a day testing on the new rubber at Misano.
Pedrosa has also been running the pneumatic-valved motor alongside the new rubber in the tests.
He said: “It has been a test of many changes and I am satisfied. It has been very hard for me, we have worked at a very high pace and it doesn't feel like I have had a second to even take my helmet off!
Luckily we have had sun and we have been able to test well and that is important. We have tried to find a configuration that we like, since the tyres are very different and the behavior of the motorcycle changes radically on them.
“At this point it is difficult to say if I like these tyres more because I do not have much experience and we have not tried too many compounds. I have tried myself to adapt them, to find their limits and to know how they feel when pushed. I have tried to find out if they are good from the beginning, or if you must warm up them more or less then other tyres.
"At the beginning you look for security, to feel comfortable and to see what stability the bike has on them. From there on the most important part of the test for me it was to begin to look for the limits and to know how the tyres react in certain moments. The pneumatic valve motor is very different too, something which I am not used to. It is a little more aggressive. It is not so smooth though.”
