DANI PEDROSA has said that he's still not sure if his hand will be strong enough for him to compete with Casey Stoner and Valentino Rossi this weekend in Brno.
The Spaniard is 41 points behind Rossi in the championship chase and says that the operation he had to repair his hand after crashing out of the lead at Sachsenring feels as though it's repaired, but he can't be sure until he rides hard on the bike this weekend.
He said: "Of course it´s going to be tough, because also at the moment the level is high. We have to improve our whole package to be fast at every track. It´s only a month since the operation but I hope it can be better and better, because sometimes you can feel pain for longer when you are pushing so hard.
"You never know until you actually jump on the bike, but it should be better and I hope that this is enough."
