Pedrosa...third pole position in a row


DANI PEDROSA took his third pole position on the trot in qualifying for this weekend's Malaysian GP at Sepang.

The Repsol Honda rider stole top slot from newly crowned MotoGP king, Casey Stoner, in the latter stages of the hour-long session. Pedrosa's quickest lap was a 2:01.877. Marco Melandri clinched the final spot on the front row - less than a tenth of a second behind Stoner.
