James Toseland bags 14th fastest as tiny Italian storms to the top of the timesheets
LORIS CAPIROSSI showed he's still capable of a world class performance by seeting the fastest time in today's official MotoGP test session at Speng, Malaysia.
The Italian stuck in a best time of 2'01.869 on his Suzuki, knocking former World Champion Casey Stoner into second spot. The young Australian managed a best of 2'02.038, pushing reigning MotoGP World Champion Valentino Rossi into third place.
Other surprises? Toni 'I hang off like a bastard' Elias notched up the fifth fastest time of the session, with returning MotoGP star Sete Gibernau slotting into eighth spot. Good work, Spanish bloke.
Britain's James Toseland, riding a Tech 3 Yamaha, finished the session in 14th place.
