The TT shows the commitment of the Isle of Man Government in providing the low emission pioneers with a world stage to demonstrate their solutions
ONE OF THE leading competitors of last year's highly successful TTXGP has said the team will be back at the Island in 2010 to take part in the breakaway Zero TT clean emission race.
MotoCzysz team founder Michael Czysz confirmed the squad will return to the Isle of Man in 2010 to participate in the TT Zero Clean emissions race. The team’s 2010 racer has received significant improvements over their 2009 machine; the squad are hoping to clinch the £10,000 reward for the first 100mph average lap of the TT course.
In a press release that contains little indication of the current uproar surrounding zero emission motorcycle racing, company CEO, Michael Czysz, said:“We are very excited to be returning to the Isle of Man to compete in the 2010 TT Zero. The fact that electric motorcycle racing has been elevated to an official class within the TT shows the commitment of the Isle of Man Government in providing the low emission pioneers with a world stage to demonstrate their solutions. This may end up being one of the purest prototype classes left in racing.”
MotoCzysz has also signed to compete in the 2010 TTXGP race series.
