John Kocinski: Flattracker

Quirky WSB legend tries his hand on the dirty stuff

by Visordown News

FORMER 250cc GP and WSB World Champion John Kocinski is back out on track, taking part in the West Coast Flat Track Series in the USA.

Kocinski, 40, is going all-out in a bid to help his friend, former full-time flat track racer, Henry Wiles win the title.

Nice to see the old boy out and about isn't it? Wonder how many times he'll wash his hands before and after the race?

Don't think that was necessary or mature. Everyone always speaks on his OCD, but lets not forget he was very, very talented...and still is considering he built that beautiful bike. Its been over a decade since he competed in a race and all everyone can recall is him washing his hands and ass all day long!

I mean...really!! You kidding me?!

E k

Over the past couple years, I unfortunately have had the compulsion to google my Man, every so often....usually after a practice or race just to check in on what's being said. I finally have the urge to set the record straight!! I wish all who cared could see me as I have the biggest and brightest smile on my face as this will be too SATISFYING!!!

Yes, John washes his hands, as  do I, our daughter, and hopefully everyone else with whom we come in contact with on a daily basis. Washing your hands before and after a meal and after one uses the restroom is considered sanitary, not compulsive. I think the gentleman who engage in posts over John's "cleanliness, ocd, quircks, eccentricities etc.", are the same gentlemen who were the star quarterbacks in highschool- however, never graduated, or, if they did graduate, never resulted to much! They still picture themselves as a svelte youngster.....when in reality these men sit at their computers taking cheap shots at those who they've never had the pleasure to know. I picture these men, at least 15 pounds overweight- a beer in hand, living pay check before paycheck resulting in the most resentful excuse for a human being ever.

Ok, here's the really satisfying part!!

Gentleman, in the time that you have been in front of your computer, slandering my Man and wishing it was your name on the computer screen instead of John's; (Knowing full well you can barely find the start button) he has run 18 miles of stairs, is contemplating his next big Real Estate project, calculated interest rates/returns in profits, always making sure we're up atleast 200 percent in profits- and he still manages to meet us for dinner on time! WHAT HAVE YOU DONE? John has maintained his success throughout his entire life, steadily reaching goals and setting goals over and over!! AGAIN, WHAT HAVE YOU DONE? John is in the best shape of his life he has a rock hard body; I could literally, thoroughly, wash my clothes on his stomach! It's gorgeous!! HOW'S THAT BELLY BOYS? In the words of my Man, "unless you can compete, don't show up." For the highschool drop outs, that translates to...."Don't talk shit unless you're on his level."

And finally the most satisfying!!! Gentlemen, be prepared to never look at your small packages with confidence again!! Jk would not be very happy with this, but, what the hell- I'm pretty sure he never reads this stuff anyway!! I'm not sure this can be said with class.....let's put it this way. Since being with John, when a really obnoxious man hits on me relentlessly, I have one line that sends him packing...."unless you are a millionaire and have a 12 inch cock, don't bother!!" GENTLEMEN, ASK YOUR LADIES IF THEY'RE SATISFIED. I'm sure you already know the answer!!

Ok, on a serious note. John is an amazing person inside and out, he is a wonderful Dad and a true friend. I am so proud of him!! Yes, we have a clean house, clean cars, clean everything!! It's just how we are- I'm not sure what all the fuss is about. The bottom line- he's talented, he has proven his talent over and over. Not just in racing but in everything he puts his energy into.

I gave up on googling Kocinski.

All I wanted to do is view the legend's career stats and it burns me that all I get is how much he washes his hands, bad temperament and is very wierd which is stuff i don't care to know about.

E K's post was diligently written, but a bit bazaar and head tilting for my taste. So in response to that....let us know when you're done with John so we can wash our underwear on his chest, have some babies and spend some of his real estate millions......LOL!!!

 Just kidding.....

Look what I found on the web

It's a close up shot of JK's flatracker with cellophane wrapped around the throttle grip!

Need we say more?

E k
Yes, please say more!! The bike came straight from the fabricator- it had never even touched dirt, let alone taken for a ride. This is not the sort of bike you practice on......it will be going up for sale, starting bid $125,000- cash only. Would you like to bid?? Are you a professional; have you ever been the best in the WORLD at anything....the fact that you're on here making assumptions= probably not. Are you jealous, just because John's bike is worth more than you make in 2 years doesn't mean your less than- it just means you don't have the right to talk shit!! Did you not read my post?? Unless you can rattle off some seriously measurable accomplishments that equate to world championships and creating millions of $$ from a dream-Shut the f*** up!! Just because you have an internet connection and can google....Are you serious?? Do you have any idea what a factory Wood Rotax weighs?? Do you have any idea what John's Rotax weighs?? Do you even know what carbon fiber is?? Give me a break! Get a life!! Disco Darren?? Maybe you should start blogging on dancing websites- you don't belong on here! Good luck with your dance career!!

I'm just gonna pop in here for a minute since I happened to browse through this forum out of curiosity. Not too sure how genuine this forum is...but I'm gonna add my piece anyway.

I've only been into motorbikes for 10 years, which is not a very long time...but I have viewed some of the races just to get a better idea on how the motorbikes work versus what I do on them.

Now throughout the races, I have viewed legendary riders such as Schwants, Lawson, Doohan, Fogarty, Chili, Slight...etc.  To me these are the best riders in the world even til this day. And all the races performed now are nothing compared to how grand they were back in the 90s.

I happened to accidently view a SBK race with John Kocinski of course taking the win...and boy...after watching that race, I was FREAKING IMPRESSED!!! I then made it my business to view all his SBK races and some of his GP races...and let me tell you....from a fan's point of view, from an inexperienced rider's point of view and from a personal point of view, John Kocinski was completely untouchable.  Every top racer struggled to be on Kocinski's page but could not cut it!

For someone to have an effect on someone who is 10 years younger than him and never really been into motorbikes in the past, says alot.  I can easily watch the current racers like that gay as Rossi, or Lorenzo, Stoner or that freaking hillbilly Spies( who by the way, did not impress me by winning 2009 SBK..I rooted for HAGA) but I would rather base my ambitions on Schwantz, Chili, Slight, Fogarty, Doohan...etc. But especially John Kocinski for several reasons. John has his own style, can do certain things with the superbike that other racers cant and he just looks very good on it as well.

I dont and probably would never have the privalge to know him personally, but from what I have viewed, If I ever had the chance to kiss his feet or drink the sweat that comes off his leathers...I WOULD (sorry EK...hahaha)So with that being said...if JK wants to wash his hands 15 times a day, scrubb his leathers with a toothbrush or wrap his bike in bubblewrap, then he has my every permission to do so. I think he deserves better respect because he's earned it and has worked very hard for it. He off track is also more than brilliant, he's articulate and odviously very ambitious considering he made a life for himself unlike other riders he raced with in his heyday who are either on crack, in jail or penniless and homeless.  At 41 years old, he doesnt look a day older than 25.  How many legends can say that for themselves???  NONE!! In fact, I'm gonna find me a nice background wallpaper of him just so I can view his boots and and chest all day long.

From this point foward... I dont care what asinine remarks people have said are saying about JK...he is and will always be my number one idol.....HAHA...stitch that!!!

OUch!!!

This is a rough bunch..... you just had to go there about Simon Crafar....

yes, Kocinski took him out...yes, Kocinski exercised poor judgement...and yes, I think I was alittle upset over that.... but it's RACING....not a freaking sitcom show where everything is always all good in the end. And really, all Crafar had to do was GO FASTER DAMMIT!!!!

Now I like Crafar... I like him alot (who by the way recovered very well from his horrible crash a few months ago) and I dont think there's any motorist in the world that dislikes him, but I think I remember Carl Fogarty who til this day is the most successful rider in SBK doing the same exact crap to John Kocinski in the same season http://www.youtube.com/user/WSBArchives#p/search/4/0reDo9JIdDM

but no one was hard on fogarty for that considering JK took it and that hit very well. Lets not forget that part of racing is crashing and torpedoing other riders.....thats what makes it fun!! And if you can find me a race that shows every rider on thier motorbikes looking like 85 year old men behind the wheel of a 1935 3-cylinder doing only 25 mph around a race track and with "no crashes", then I'll have no more to say or add..... until then, the Crafar issue is pointless, inconsequential and insufficient evidence as to why Kocinski should not be well liked....or considered one of the greatest racers in the world.

But that Crafar line was a good one....it does bring tears to my eyes sometimes...... DAMM you Crafar!!!

Hi E K,

This stuff is funny. Nice to see you sticking up for your man. I was the friend that flew down from Sacto and helped him at the race. I've been setting the record straight up here in N. Cal on some forums as well.  I also posted the correction reply on this web page when they got his land deal with Eddie wrong.

I was racing the AFM when John was kicking ass on 250’s in the US.  We used to joke about guys like John having to put two dents in the gas tank with a hammer just to make room for the huge balls they had to have……….going through turn 9 at Sears wide open with a guard rail 5 feet away.

Keep up the fight……….
