INDIA is looking to add both the MotoGP and World Superbike championship to its event calendar in 2013, at the new Buddh International circuit.

The circuit hosted its first F1 race last season and a report from the Economic Times said both the MotoGP and WSB events would likely be held in March.

Sameer Gaur, managing director and chief executive officer of the circuit promoters Jaypee Sports International, said: "We want to accommodate all of these races, but India has only five months of good weather when they can be held."

India will be a popular location for the two race series, as it is a very important market for the motorcycle manufacturers.
