IAN HUTCHINSON is feared to have re-broken his leg at the MCN London Motorcycle Show.

The eight-time TT winner was rehearsing for the show when he reportedly twisted his leg in an awkward manner. The Swan Yamaha rider has since been taken to Coventry, to have his leg assessed by the same surgeon who repaired the previous damage.

The suspected injury is to the same leg which Hutchinson badly broke when he was hit at Silverstone at the end of 2010.

UPDATE: Shaun Muir, team owner of Swan Yamaha, has confirmed that Hutchinson has a fresh fracture to his leg but is well away from the original breaks. The Bingly rider will have an external fixator fitted and has hopes to be released from hospital as soon as possible.

I'll echo mobus and Pagik's sentiment, that realy does suck big time... Was looking forward to seeing him back in action again this year.

Perhaps too much too soon, or maybe the injury was so great it may never be as strong as before.

Anyway, such bad luck to a guy that has worked so hard to get back and had just secured his Yamaha BSB ride this year.

Get well soon matey

ughh that sucks. An external fixator sounds like its a bad break thats going to take a long time to fix. I think we've all been waiting a long time to see hutchy back on a bike.
I just really hope its not going to turn out to be a career ending set of injuries.
