Honda to stay in MotoGP

Honda stay in motorcycle racing's big league, despite quitting F1

PRESIDENT AND CEO of the Honda Corportation, Takeo Fukui, has confirmed Honda will remain in MotoGP in 2009.

His announcement was made at an end of year speech, in which Fukui quashed rumours of Honda's possible withdrawal from racing's premier class. The rumours have been circulating the racing world since the company's recent decision to quit F1.

Mr Fukui went on to outline Honda's future plans in the face of global economic recession. He also talked on the subject of electric motorcycles, saying the company will be producing battery powered bikes for sale by the start of 2011 - the same plans unearthed by Visordown over a month ago.

Just heard from a reliable source that Yamaha are about to withdraw factory support from WSB.

Do they support Yamaha Italia (or whatever they're called) much?

kaptainkaos
Yes, that's the factory supported team.

Is this a Kawasaki out of MotoGP chinese whisper?

I'd be surprised if Yamaha pull the plug on WSB, as they are dominatng MotoGP and would want to bloody Ducati's nose in WSB too, especially with the new model out now.

Be sorry if they do though

I've got an idea, they can video track days instead.

Still have 3 classes.

And for the gran finale, the fast group.

John, I keep telling you, it's a trackday, not a race day. You're putting people in danger with your frivolous attitude to Health & Safety

Aye.

Anyone who tries to tell you different about any trackday (except mebbee those Rapid Skills ones) is a big fat lying   bastid.

And they are also undoubtedly slower /less skillful than they'd like to be, tho they ain't got an exclusive on that

everybody's slower than they want to be ,including rossi.

nobody reaches a level and says "that's fast enough" we all want to go quicker.
