SPANISH 125cc GP Winner Bradley Smith says he's on course to repeat his fabulous win in Jerez a couple of weeks ago when he takes to the track this weekend for the up-coming French round of the tiny bike's championship.
It was in his 50th GP that Smith took his first win in the top level competition and he's up for Le Mans, the circuit where he got his first podium ever in GP, finishing third in 2007.
Bradley went one better when he was second in 2008 and now thinks the win could be on, especially given how fast he was in Spain nearly a fortnight ago.
He said: “We need to work very hard right from the word go on Friday so that we start the race in good shape and we are ready for another battle. Le Mans is relatively straightforward but finding those last few tenths of a second which make all the difference is quite hard. It’s good though because it equals things out quite a bit in terms of machinery and the riders really make the difference in the races.”
