FIM approval awarded to GBRacing

Used by champions and GBRacing now has the highest seal of motorcycle approval from the FIM

British-made motorcycle protection products offered by GBRacing have been granted approval by the FIM.

Including the testimonials offered by championship winning teams across the world, GBRacing now has the highest stamp of approval available in motorcycling for their engine, generator and clutch covers.

The products offered are constructed of a low-cost super-tough nylon designed to prevent extensive damage such as holes in the casing which can result in oil spillage on the road or track. Ultimately a holed engine can result in a complete rebuild but protection from GBRacing minimises the chance of this happening.

Graham Banks of GBRacing commented on the award: “To win FIM approval proves our protection really is the best and does save engines in crashes, whether on the road or track. This accolade is added to the MCRCB approval that GBRacing already has. I am proud of our British-made and engineered products - and that we can sell them at low cost so any production bike riders can use and benefit from them.”

GBRacing protection comes in a wide range of fitments covering most modern sportsbikes including Suzuki’s GSX-R range, Yamaha’s R1 and R6, Honda’s CBR range, Kawasaki’s ZX range, KTM’s RC8 and Triumph’s 675 plus many more.

GBRacing bike protection is used by  HM Plant Honda, MSS Kawasaki, Motorpoint Yamaha, Relentless Suzuki by Tas, Jentin Racing, Team Kawasaki Provec Motocard, Parkalgar Honda ParkinGo Supersport & European Series, Team Suzuki Alstare, Yamaha France GMT94 IPONE and is a partner to the Thundersport GB organisation. Products have also been used by John McGuinness and Michael Dunlop at the Isle of Man TT races.

As well as secondary engine covers, GBRacing manufactures frame sliders, crash bobbins and paddock stand bobbins. Prices on engine covers start at just £38 including VAT, and typically all three engine covers for a modern sportsbike will cost less than £170 but is dependent on model.
