FORMULA ONE driver Mark Webber has said he thinks former F1 God Michael Schumacher should reconsider a career in motorcycle racing.
The 32-year-old Australian has said he's surprised Schumacher's still interested in racing a bike after his lastest fall, which saw the seven-time F1 champ knocked unconscious, after a massive highside while testing in February. Schumacher has subsequently missed the start of the German Superbike series.
"I too find those machines awesome," said Red Bull driver Webber, to Germany's Auto Motor und Sport. "But race them? No thanks," he said.
Former 500cc world champion Mick Doohan has also warned of the dangers of starting racing after your prime. Doohan warned Webber:
"Until you get it right, you fall badly at least ten times. If you are young, that's part of your job, but when you're older you wouldn't advise it.
"Michael should listen," Webber said, "because Mick knows what he's talking about."
