After dropping out of the TT, fast 'n wild racer will be on the BSB grid this weekend at Thruxton
THIS is going to put a feline amongst the feathered things - but Sean Emmett is back on a pukka superbike this weekend at Thruxton's opening round of the British Superbike Championship.
Sean is replacing Steve Plater in the AIM Yamaha team. He will be racing in both the Superbikes and the Henderson Yamaha R1 Cup. Plater is away this weekend on World Endurance duty for the GMT94 Yamaha team at Le Mans 24.
Emmett said: "I am really glad to be back in BSB this weekend. The control tyre rule means we are racing on a more equal level.
"Before there was too much difference in tyres, but now I reckon we've got a chance of being right in the scrap."
