Robbed of a victory in Supersport race one, hard-charging Dunlop makes amends

MICHAEL Dunlop won the second Supersport race at the Isle of Man TT yesterday evening.

In Dunlop's third Isle of Man TT win of his career to date, he dominated the race, finishing 13 seconds ahead of Cameron Donald.

Kiwi Bruce Anstey was beaten to the last spot on the podium by one hundredth of a second by Ryan Farquhar.

Dunlop set the fastest lap of the race on his final lap at 125.60mph.

"I needed this win after all the disappointments I have had this week, the trouble we have been through and the amount of money we have spent," said Dunlop.

John McGuinness,  finished fifth place with Ian Hutchinson sixth. William Dunlop and Gary Johnson were also contenders but both retired with mechanical problems.
