MICK DOOHAN has been confirmed as one of the entrants for the 2009 Race of Champions.
The five-times 500cc GP World Champion (when race bikes were real race bikes) has been announced by the event organisers as part of the event on June 6 and 7.
According to the organisers, mighty Mick is: "Very enthusiastic about having the chance to compete against other big names from the world of motorsport. He wants to provide as good spectacle for the fans at the event in Portugal and is really looking forward to taking part."
We reckon he could take Schumacher in those buggy things, no problem. Wonder if the event will lay on a couple of Fireblades for the pair of them to slug it out on, too?
